Baggage & Check-in

Web check-in not available — what should I do?

If you're unable to complete web check-in, don't worry — this is common and usually does not affect your ability to travel. Many airlines restrict online check-in for specific booking types or conditions. Why is web check-in sometimes unavailable? - Your booking is a Group Fare - The airline requires manual verification - Special services are added (meal, wheelchair, infant, etc.) - The flight is international and document verification is required - The airline's website or app is temporarily unavailable In such cases, online check-in may open later or remain unavailable. When does web check-in usually open? For most airlines, 24–48 hours before departure. For Group Fare bookings, web check-in may open after 9:00 PM on the day before departure. Exact timings vary by airline. What if it's still not available? You can check in directly at the airport — carry your ticket and valid ID, and reach the airport early (recommended 2–3 hours before departure). Airline staff will complete the check-in at the counter. Does this mean my ticket is not confirmed? No. If your booking is confirmed, your ticket is valid even if web check-in is not available. Web check-in restrictions do not mean your ticket is cancelled or invalid. Special note for Group Fare bookings For Group Fare tickets: web check-in may open later than usual, passenger names may reflect closer to departure, and airport check-in is always available. This is normal and handled by the airline. When should I contact support? Usually you do not need to. Contact support only if your booking status is not confirmed, you are unable to check in at the airport, or your travel is within 24 hours and you see an error related to ticket status. Please share your Booking ID.

Bookings & Payments

Payment deducted but ticket not issued — what happens next?

In some cases, your payment may be successful but the flight ticket is not issued immediately. This does not mean your money is lost, and it usually resolves automatically. What does "Booking status: In Progress" mean? - Your payment is successful - The booking is being manually confirmed with the airline or supplier - Final confirmation is awaited This is a temporary state and part of the normal booking flow. How long does it take? - In most cases, the booking is resolved within 30 minutes - It may take a little longer due to airline response delays - You will always receive an update within 2 hours The final outcome is one of: ticket issued, or refund initiated. Important: please do not make a new booking While your booking is In Progress, do not create a new booking or retry the payment — this can result in duplicate payments, multiple bookings, and delays in refunds. What does FlightsMojo do in this case? As soon as a booking goes into In Progress: our team actively follows up with the airline or supplier, the booking is prioritised for confirmation, and one of two actions is taken — ticket issued, or refund initiated promptly. You do not need to take any action unless requested. What are the chances of the ticket getting confirmed? Based on our experience, around 90% of "In Progress" bookings are successfully ticketed. In the remaining cases, a refund is initiated immediately. How fast is the refund if the booking fails? - FlightsMojo initiates the refund from our side, usually within a few hours - A refund receipt with the RRN / reference number is shared once processed Refund timelines by payment method: UPI usually within a few hours to 24 hours; credit/debit cards typically 3–5 working days; net banking usually 3–5 working days; wallets depend on the provider. Will FlightsMojo hold my money? No. If the ticket is not confirmed, it is either issued or the refund is processed promptly. Your money remains safe and fully tracked. Do service fees apply in this case? No. If the booking fails and the ticket is not issued, FlightsMojo service fees are not charged. When should I contact support? Only if the booking remains In Progress for more than 2 hours without any update, or you have not received a refund confirmation within 24 hours after failure. Please share your Booking ID.

Ticket confirmed but not received — what should I do?

If your ticket is confirmed but you haven't received it yet, there's usually no need to worry. This is commonly caused by email delays or spam filtering. Before contacting support, please check - Spam / Junk / Promotions folder in your email - The email address used during booking - WhatsApp messages (if enabled for your booking) In most cases, the ticket email is delivered within a few minutes after confirmation. When can delivery take time? If the booking was confirmed recently, airline systems are slow to sync, or there is a temporary email delivery delay. Please allow up to 30 minutes after confirmation. Still haven't received it after 30 minutes? Raise a support request through the Help Centre with your Booking ID and passenger name — our team will resend the ticket or assist further. Is my booking still valid if I haven't received the email? Yes. If your booking shows confirmed, your ticket is valid even if the email has not arrived. Email delivery issues do not affect your booking status. Travelling within 24 hours? Raise a support request immediately and mention your Booking ID and travel date so we can prioritise it.

What is a Group Fare booking? Important information

Some flights on FlightsMojo are booked under a Group Fare category. These fares are pre-purchased by FlightsMojo or its authorised suppliers from airlines and offered to customers at lower prices. Passengers do not need to book as a group to avail these fares. What does "Group Fare" mean? - FlightsMojo or its suppliers pre-purchase seat inventory from airlines under group contracts - These seats are sold individually to customers at discounted prices - Even if you book as a single passenger or family, the ticket may be issued under a Group Fare PNR This is why the airline may handle the booking differently from a regular individual ticket. How will I know it's a Group Fare? You are informed at multiple stages: a Group Fare notice is shown on the payment page before booking, and the same information is included in your booking confirmation email. Where applicable, it is also shared via WhatsApp. There are no hidden conditions. Booking confirmation & PNR - Your booking is 100% confirmed, your airline PNR is valid and active, and seats are already secured with the airline - There is no risk of waitlisting or overbooking - Passenger names may not appear immediately on the airline's website — they usually reflect within 12 hours prior to departure. This is normal for group PNRs. Web check-in for Group Fare tickets Web check-in generally opens after 9:00 PM on the day before departure. Before this time, airlines may restrict online check-in for group fare bookings. If online check-in is unavailable, check in directly at the airport. Important rules (please read carefully) Group Fare tickets are generally non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-cancellable. Once booked: travel dates usually cannot be modified, passenger details cannot be changed, and cancellations/refunds are not permitted under standard rules. These conditions are defined by the airline. Exceptional requests: in rare cases, FlightsMojo may try to check with the airline if a cancellation or name correction is possible. This is not guaranteed, approval depends entirely on the airline, additional charges may apply, and refunds (if any) are subject to airline approval. TripShield (if purchased): you may be eligible to raise a claim under TripShield, subject to its terms — TripShield claims are handled separately from airline cancellation rules. Visit https://tripshield.flightsmojo.in/ Why are Group Fares cheaper? Seats are purchased in advance in bulk, airlines offer reduced fares in exchange for fixed booking conditions, and flexibility is lower compared to regular fares. These fares suit travellers with confirmed and fixed travel plans.

Refunds, Changes & Cancellations

How do refunds work and how long do they take?

Refund timelines depend on why the refund is being issued. Refunds generally fall into one of three scenarios. 1. Payment completed but booking failed Can happen if seats become unavailable, the airline does not confirm, or a technical issue occurs after payment. FlightsMojo initiates the refund immediately — usually within a few hours — and sends a refund receipt with the RRN / reference number. Timelines by payment method: UPI usually within a few hours to 24 hours; credit/debit cards typically 3–5 working days; net banking 3–5 working days; wallets depend on the provider. In this case the refund is already processed by FlightsMojo — remaining time depends only on your bank. 2. Customer-initiated cancellation FlightsMojo submits the cancellation request to the airline or supplier; the airline reviews and confirms the refundable amount; once FlightsMojo receives the refund from the airline, we process it back to you. Why can't FlightsMojo refund before receiving the airline amount? Until the airline confirms the cancellation and closes the ticket, the booking remains open in the airline system and may still be eligible for rescheduling or other actions. Refunding early can lead to conflicting outcomes, so refunds are processed only after the amount is received from the airline. Timeline: airline processing varies by airline and fare type; after FlightsMojo receives the refund it is processed within 72 hours; bank timelines then apply. Refund amount depends on airline fare rules, and FlightsMojo service fees are non-refundable. 3. Airline-initiated cancellation or schedule change The airline first processes the refund to the supplier or FlightsMojo — usually 4–5 days, sometimes 20–25 days depending on the airline. Once received, FlightsMojo processes it to you immediately; bank timelines apply after that. Delays in this case are caused by airline processing timelines. During peak travel or disruption periods During winter peak travel, bad weather, airline disruptions, or unforeseen operational issues, airlines may take longer than usual, and higher volumes can create processing backlogs. Refunds are not lost — they are processed as soon as funds are received from airlines. How will I know my refund is processed? Refunds are sent to the original payment method, and a refund confirmation or receipt (with RRN/reference number) is shared once processed. Banks may take additional time to reflect the amount. If your refund timeline has passed or you need an update for a specific booking, raise a support request with your Booking ID.

Refunds, Changes & Cancellations

Airline changed or cancelled my flight — what are my options?

Sometimes airlines change, reschedule, or cancel a flight due to operational reasons. Your available options depend entirely on the airline's policy — FlightsMojo assists you based on what the airline allows. Why do airlines change or cancel flights? Operational or aircraft changes, weather conditions, airport or air traffic restrictions, schedule realignments, technical or crew-related issues. These decisions are controlled by the airline, not FlightsMojo. What options are usually available? Depending on the airline and fare type: accept the revised schedule, change to an alternate flight (same airline, subject to availability), or request a refund (as per airline policy). What counts as a major schedule change? A significant change in departure or arrival time, a change of travel date, or flight cancellation by the airline. What qualifies as a major change is defined by the airline. Can I get a refund for a major change or cancellation? You may be eligible for a full refund of the ticket amount, subject to airline approval. Note: refund eligibility depends on airline policy, FlightsMojo service fees still apply for handling and processing, and refunds are processed only after FlightsMojo receives the amount from the airline. Do I have to pay extra if the airline changes my flight? In many cases airlines allow a free change or refund for major changes. However, minor timing changes may not qualify, and policies vary by airline and route. What should I do if my flight is changed or cancelled? 1. Review the updated information shared via email or WhatsApp 2. Decide whether you want to accept the change, request an alternate flight, or request a refund 3. Raise a support request through the Help Centre with your Booking ID and preferred option If your travel is within 24–48 hours, raise the request immediately and mention your travel date so it can be prioritised.
